Schonhard Chiropractic works in tandem with other Jackson health care professionals.  We have 35 years combined chiropractic experience in Jackson, Michigan.  Many of the Jackson M.D.'s & D.O.'s refer to us for chiropractic care, and likewise, if your condition requires attention from another branch of the health care profession we will make that recommendation.  We are sure to only take patients that can benefit from chiropractic care. 

At Schonhard Chiropractic, most new patients notice significant improvement within 2-3 weeks of care if they follow all instructions given (i.e. stretches, icing, etc.).  The chiropractors normally reevaluate at approximately 3 weeks, then with symptom improvements & greater range of motion gained, the patient will be given an active role in their care.  It may be as simple as getting out for a walk 2-3 times a week at the Jackson Crossing or Cascades Park (weather permitting).  When a patient makes this type of lifestyle change, their visit frequency becomes much less.  We realize every patient has a different definition of health.  Some may be in agonizing pain all the time and their goal is initially pain relief.  Another individual may just want to get a decent night sleep without pain.  Another person may want to prevent a low back condition from radiating into the legs.  The patient is always in control of their care at Schonhard Chiropractic - we make suggestions, but the patient decides if it is worth the effort to walk into our office for care.
